XM SkyFi3 Mini-site
Delphi has an excellent mini-site on the new XM SkyFi3 satellite radio receiver/MP3 player.
They do a nice job of explaining how this hybrid unit is optimized for your car, but has the flexibility to be a fully portable unit as well (in two different wearable kits). Also explained is the difference between the storing of XM content (10-hours worth) and storing of your own MP3/WMA library (on the included 2Gb microSD card).
It's worth checking out if you're interested in getting this receiver, plus they also provide the SkyFi3 user guide (PDF) for your reading pleasure.
And likely to cause a ruckus among Orbitcast commenters - there's also a well put together comparison chart that has the audacity to compare the SkyFi3 to the Stiletto 100 and Stiletto 10, among others. (gasp!) A Sirius vs. XM comparison? Let the war begin!
Thanks Steven!

This receiver will be a huge seller for XM.
It obviously offers the best of both worlds (Sat & MP3) as far as what is available today, owing to the MicroSD slot and its reasonably portable form-factor.
Biggest problem is the 90-minute battery life without the big battery.

Looks like a nice unit. Some will want a color display. The comparison chart is unnecessary to me.

The SD slot is a godsend...it might actually make me wait for the Sirius unit generation 2 when they add it, that is if they do.
i don't want to carry around two devices i want sat/mp3 player.

What, the Stiletto doesn't allow you to upload your own MP3s?

Yes, you can upload MP3's on the Stiletto.

It's a nice unit, and having bought a Hexlix about six weeks ago after the first big price drop, this seems to be a better value. But 90 minutes of sattelite time means no day at the beach- which is a good time to use these units! Nice they included the car kit, though.

This unit doesnt re-invent the wheel or anything, but its a solid offering to replace the last generation xm units. This unit will appeal to new comers who just want satalite radio, but hard-core fans and geeks will still be battlin over the INNO or Stilleto. Overall im impressed. Looks a little bigger then it needs to be (especially with the car kit) but that screen is friggin huge, and its damn sexy!

I just bought a Nexus and am totally hooked on the idea of the Passport (Mini-Tuner)

If only the Skyfi 3 took this new form of XM, i would be getting it day one.
