Gizmodo's own XM informant, Hearsay Boy, apparently is saying that the XM / WorldSpace deal is the beginning of XM's overall strategy hell bent on world domination!

Here's what he had to say:

XM technology may be quickly spreading to ?billions-with-a-B? more people on the other side of the globe. The term for the warrants is only three years, so they ain?t exactly sitting on their duffs on this one, either.

They want repeaters for their network, and XM?s advanced chipset technology. You simply do not need that if you plan to stick with a stationary receiver model, as they have now.
