XM

XM Satellite Radio has also announced that they will holding their Q1 earnings conference call on Monday May 12th, at 10am ET.

As usual, there will be a webcast of the call, or you can dial-in at 877-265-5808 (Conference ID#: 46660772).

Of course, everyone is crossing their fingers - but not holding their breath - that the FCC will have ruled by then.

I'll be anxious to read the Q-Filing if only to find out how many more millions they threw at that loser "Baby Huey" Panero.

I hope Mel throws Parson's out with the trash when he takes over. It's incomprehensible to me that Panero and Parson's could have squandered a 15 month, and substantial contractual lead to an upstart ..... little old Sirius. What incompetence XM's management was/is. How excellent and talented Mel is.

As for you Clayton.... get off your Hooiser ass a lose a few hundered pounds eh? I don't want you croaking when there's work yet to be done. A hamburger ain't worth dying for Son!

What??? In case you didn't notice both companies have been performing like shit. XM is still the #1 service and leads by the same # of subs, about 2 million, as it did pre-Howard. What has Mel done? Try to merge to save Sirius from Howard's contract and in the meantime completely halted any momentum SDARS had. This industry is sadly finished, merger or not. There is no more buzz about SDARS, no one gives a fuck and the merger isn't going to change it. Sad but true. $30 a share? Never ever, ever.

" ..... Hello my name is Nate Davis . Here is our fudged numbers for the first quarter ..... "

Poor Plowboy still living in his dreamworld. Keeps believing Sirius started 15 months after XM, but it was only 6 (as pointed out by another poster).

Mel only came in to rescue Sirius from the pathetic mess Joe Clayton left him. That's right, table scraps. Only thing Mel's done is try to merge. Wow, what a hero.

Yea, Mel is sooo talented. Look what he's done to terrestrial radio. Turned it into a commercial wasteland with stale playlists and garbage. Oh sure, he built his company and himself a pretty profit, but he ruined what was once great radio. Mel doesn't "get it" when it comes to what consumers want, and he never will.

He's only interested in himself and his stock holding, which are worth less now (since Howie's been aboard) then it was before the big talent showed up. Hmmmmm, how can it be that they have all this talent, but can't make a profit? We know, it's all about subscriber adds at any price, right Plowboy? Never mind cost control, subscriber numbers are the only thing that matters.
