XM Portable Headphones?

An interesting thing has crept past us almost unnoticed. An investor presentation by XM Satellite Radio released yesterday lists the usual investor-type things: how great we are, how profitable we will be, and look at all our great new products coming out. But in the midsts of all that, specifically on page 25, there’s a curious little line item for XM’s new Plug-and-Play Radio:
“$99 portable headphones available for Christmas along with other universal accessories by brand name manufacturers”
Now, I”m purely speculating over here, but what could “univeral portable headphones” be? Let’s do a little math here. Let’s take the MyFi Antenna Headset ($50) and add another $50 for, oh say a Connect-and-Play chip ($50), and what do you get? $100 “universal” headphones. Or, in other words, the ability to make XM-Ready units (like, maybe the Samsung neXus?) listen to live XM Satellite Radio.
Thanks cb!
UPDATE: I’ve been pwned. Apparently I must’ve missed the headphones listed with the Roady XT? These are simply the next iteration of the Roady 2’s PAS. Oh well, one can dream.

Y’know, I really wish she’d make up her mind.
