John Legend on XM Satellite Radio

Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 5:26 PM
John Legend on XMAre you an XM subscriber, yet jealous that the Sirius folks got to hear John Legend live the other day? Well turn that frown upside down, because you'll now be able to catch John Legend’s live performance on XM’s The City (ch 67) starting this Saturday (October 28th) at 4pm ET. Encore broadcasts can be found after the jump.

Lisa (aka Sexy Chocolate) hosted this special event straight from the Penthouse in The City, where she prepared John Legend's favorite meal-fried chicken and mac-n-cheese, and wheeled out a Baby Grand for him to serenade all her friends.

If you haven't picked up his new CD "Once Again," you can hear a sneak peak of songs from the album performed live as well. Legend will share what started it all, which songs were the most difficult to write and even unearth what he finds to be sexy. Grrr.

The Woz Guest Hosts Show on XM

Monday, October 23, 2006 at 9:57 PM

Steve Wozniak on XM Satellite RadioSteve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Computer and creator of the personal computer, will be hosting "Guest DJ On A Segway" on XM's The Village (ch 15) this Tuesday, October 24th at Noon ET.

The 4.5 hour show features The Woz himself hanging out with host Christine Lavin. Wozniak talks about his new autobiography "iWoz: From Computer Geek To Cult Icon," his love for the Segway (and Segway polo), his opinions on life, culture, and music. All the while he guest-DJs an excellent playlist that he whittled down after going through over five hundred of his favorite songs.

The story behind how The Woz got to guest-host the show is almost as interesting as the show itself. If you miss it on Tuesday, you can still catch the encores at: Friday at Midnight ET, Saturday 6pm ET and Monday 6am ET.
