Yahoo! Music Engine in Sirius Stiletto Manual
Satellite Radio TechWorld is quickly becoming one of my favorite blogs to read. They have a link today to the Stiletto's preliminary product manual (PDF). In that manual, Sirius very explicitely describes installation of the Yahoo! Music Engine, which confirms what sources informed us of early last week. Here's the snippet:
During installation [of My Sirius Studio Software] you will be given the opportunity to install Yahoo! Music Engine™ software. The Yahoo! Music Engine software will recognize the Stiletto and enable you to manage playlists and download music files. Yahoo! Music Engine will also allow you to view the songs and artist saved by you as “Favorites”. By using the Yahoo! Music Engine software, it may be possible to purchase or download this content. So there it is. Yahoo + Sirius.

Yahoo+Sirius? That reminds me of Yahoo Serious, the Australian actor in the movie Young Einstein.

Anyone who rents music is a sucker. They get what they deserve.

Hey Coward. Im not sure what the apple thing is, but the zing IS the stilleto.
Start counting the cash you are about to spend because the zing just got FCC approval today!
